Usage Limits and Length Limits

Usage limits: how much you can interact with Claude over a specific time period — your conversation budget. Usage across all different Claude product surfaces counts towards the same usage limit.
Length limits: the amount of information Claude can work with in a single chat, based on the context window size (e.g. 200K tokens, or 1M tokens in beta).
The Claude website shows current session usage (e.g. "Resets in 3 hr 46 min", "4% used") and context window size.
