Interactive Mode

Interactive Mode is when you type into Claude and you can interact with Claude with a real-time feedback loop.

Keyboard shortcuts:

• Ctrl+C — cancel current input or generation
• Ctrl+D — exit Claude Code session
• Ctrl+L — clear terminal screen (doesn't delete session/conversation)
• Ctrl+R — reverse search command history
• Ctrl+T — toggle task list
• Shift+Tab — toggle permission modes
