Claude Code on Web provides a sandbox developer environment with the Claude CLI via a web interface. Claude Code on Web directly connects to GitHub Repos.
- You can have multiple web sessions of Claude Code running in parallel.
- When interacting with a GitHub repo, Claude can only write and create branches that are prefixed with
/claude-. - Access via Claude's "Code" section (alongside New chat, Search, Customize, Chats, Projects, Artifacts).
Claude Code on the web shares rate limits with all other Claude and Claude Code usage within your account. Running multiple tasks in parallel will consume more rate limits proportionately.
